We have an offer to Chandler Pulvermacher along with Indiana St NDSU USD and Cornell

Ok, I updated the offers spreadsheet with that info, although it looks like Pulvermacher has already committed to NDSU.
Bobby Lawrence is a really big dude (6'8")....just wanted to say that.

Got a commitment from Sam Barkalow, a 6'6" 220lb TE/OLB from Forreston, IL. Some of the regional football guys were pretty high on this guy, saying he didn't get a ton of attention because he plays in a smaller school conference, but one guy said this is a huge "get" for us.

I'm also working through the guys on the spreadsheet that hadn't committed anywhere at last check and I'm going to do some updating of offers and commitments. I've highlighted the players who have verbally committed to Western (under the committed column...in purple).

EDIT - ok, all updated as of each player's twitter account. By my count, we have 7 verbal commitments so far.

I don't remember the vance kid forreston plays in a conference that could compete with a lot of 3a conference basically win 1a every year and have won 2a several times in the last few years.

Hi Brian, thanks. I try to keep a pretty close eye on the twitters...I have a column in TweetDeck just for things matching WIU, Western Illinois, etc. More often than not I'll see offers and commitments roll through there and I'll toss them on the spreadsheet. I do get quite a bit of help from others on this board though...they usually catch the ones I miss or can often give insight into specifics about a player if they're from the area where they live.

That's excellent. Just added him to the spreadsheet. He had lots of interest from most of the MVFC teams and had offers from SIU, ISUb, and SDSU.
