Notre Dame played there a few years ago and very squeaked out a win so they have a reputation as a great program so teams are willing to go there.

They put 5500 fans in Frost for the ND game back in early Nov 2015. Will probably do about that today.
In the 5 home games so far this year, the Cardinals are averaging about 6000.

Despite a very strong 1st quarter the Rabbits fell 68-64
It is even difficult for the #4 team to win in Frost. The Jackrabbits had it up to 11 wins in a row at home, but now the reset button has been hit again. Hopefully it can be started again Wednesday when Oklahoma comes to Brookings. Louisville found the top 2 Jackrabbit scorers and held them to 5-25 from the field. POY candidate Asia Durr is quite the player.leatherneckcountry wrote: Sun Dec 03, 2017 4:07 pm Despite a very strong 1st quarter the Rabbits fell 68-64

I was expecting bigger but I seriously think "Dead Week" cuts your student attendance in half.wiu712 wrote: Sun Dec 03, 2017 8:03 pm Attendance for that Louisville at South Dakota State Women's basketball game was 2,506.

It was a good game to watch. Jackrabbits jumped out for 12 point halftime lead. Sooners brought out a very tough and physical defense in the second half to close to 5 points after 3. Jackrabbits made enough field goals(5-26) and foul shots(17-20) in the second half to win. Jackrabbits had 4 injured players(3 who have been playing) watching and the Sooners had-6'4" Pierre-Lewis-their #1 scorer and #1 rebounder on the injured list. Sooners had trouble at the line shooting 15-24 for the game to Jackrabbits 20-23. I see that JD has Stanford and Gonzaga for a tough road trip. Good luck on the road. The win over Illinois is good to have as well.
