That is good news; I don't remember the SE booths being open when I was there but maybe I just did not look or maybe they only opened them if X number of people are expected. Well, Y will be greater than X now for sure. Restroom lines will definitely get longer now as well. Its a good thing. So is Sodexo in charge of all concessions at the games? No more coaches having to instruct their athletes on the finer details of how to make change for a $20.
As far as I know, the concessions have always been open on the south end, at least in the first half and through the end of halftime. I've been doing my "brat and diet coke" thing pretty much since they built the new buildings there.
I would assume at this point that it'll still be the track and field team managing the concessions, but there will be a separate area set aside for alcohol sales. That area will be managed by Sodexho. At least that's how I understand it. We'll have to see once Montana comes to town if that's how it'll work or not.
Also, I really think that Sodexho needs to partner with Forgottonia Brewing and sell their locally-produced beer (it'd have to be in 2019, they're not up and running yet). They could even do a special brew for that...Leatherneck Lager?...hmmm...probably not, you'd have to be careful with the name so you don't make anyone mad. Still, I'm sure they could come up with something that works.
