North Dakota State won Saturday's game 12-0. The game was stopped after the 5th inning via the 8-run rule.

Attendance at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium = 112.

The teams will play a double-header on Sunday. First game is at 10:00 AM.

watching the game aginst the Bison on the twitter feed. I love the trees in the outfield of the McKie Stadium. Perfect batters eye. Also, that backstop netting that sends foul pops right back to the catcher is a game changer. Where was that when I was growing up? :lol:

North Dakota State won both games of Sunday's double-header: 10-7 and 5-4.

North Dakota State sweeps the three-game series.

Weather: Low 40's, sunny.

Attendance at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium = 130.

Western Softball will start a three-game series at South Dakota State on Saturday (April 12). It will be a double-header with the first game starting at 12 Noon.

Current Summit League Standings:
North Dakota State 6-0
South Dakota State 3-0
South Dakota 5-1
North Dakota 2-1
Western Illinois 1-5
Omaha 1-5
Purdue Fort Wayne 0-6

Beating Iowa is fine and Dandy but how many of Iowa’s regulars played in that game.

Hadn't thought of that leatherneckcountry. The press releases were just all the excitement of beating Iowa, sorta like when Men's Basketball beat Wisconsin.

We are the Rodney Dangerfield of mid-majors. No respect - we knock off a B1G team, it was because they sandbagged on us. Take down a #1 seed in conf tourney, it was because TJ was out hunting for a new job before the tournament. ;)

Oh okay, that's why Iowa brought their ace in after 1.2 innings and pitched them for 3+ until the game was out of reach! Makes good sense to me now! ;) jc
