I agree that we wouldn't of beat ORU, not sure if anyone can.
Anyone know the status on if we will play in the CBI?
ORU - I think the only chance anyone has is if SDSU plays ORU in the championship game. There'll be a HUGE crowd rooting for SDSU if that happens, and I could see an upset happening. Otherwise, it's unlikely.
CBI - We might have an outside chance at getting an invitation. Looks like last year, the last couple of teams in were the #16 seed Purdue-Fort Wayne (Horizon League), and #15 Cal Baptist (WAC). Fort Wayne last year had a 21-11 (.656) record at the end of their conference tournament, while Cal Baptist was 18-15 (.545). We're currently 16-14 (.533), so I think we're in the range of where Cal Baptist was last year, but it'd take some luck and things would probably have to go our way with some other teams around our level/record.

You have to pay to get into the CBI unfortunately. $27,500. It looks like the basketball classic is dead given that nobody knows anything about it. In the case it isn't I'd have my fingers cross we slip in.

If general lack of interest forces you to bring in teams with sub-500 records just to fill out the draw like the classic did last year, your days as a post-season tournament are numbered.
