Naseim Brantley - Did not play - sounds like the NCAA might not of approved his medical redshirt waiver for 2018 with Sacred Heart.  Coach Schiano is pissed!!!

He played in five games (out of 11) his freshman year at Sacred Heart before getting injured. NCAA rules say that to get a medical redshirt, you have to have a season-ending injury (check), must occur before the halfway point of the season (halfway point would technically have been been halftime of their 6th game, so he's good there), and not participate in more than 30% of the season's games (this is the sticking point, I think...he played in 45.5% of the games that season).

If 2018 is counted as a "medical redshirt", then he can play a full season for Rutgers this year. If it's not, I think he can only play in 4 games, counting it as a regular "redshirt" season, even though that's not really the standard "use case" for a redshirt season.
