Perty darn good 40 minutes of basketball today.  95-62 over the Huskies.
The chemistry on the court was really good.  Gals were smiling.
We needed that.  Should be a fun group to watch this year.

That was the best defensive performance I’ve seen since Clemens and them graduated

thats good to hear about the chemistry, I have a feeling it wasn't great last year.

Really impressed with the win, not sure how good NIU is this year but a real good win.

Raegan McCowan led the Western scoring with 23 points.  Anna Deets had 21 points.  

Western shot 35 of 65 (54%).

There were several girls basketball teams in attendance today.

Attendance at Western Hall = 452

Last year NIU’s team was just under .500. This was the result when we played them at their place last year…

We've got a winner with McGowan. She can eat up slower or smaller defenders. There's not going to be many who can match her size and speed in our conference.

If I remember right, i thought they said  it was quite the get when she signed with WIU.
