SIUE is 3-11 overall, 0-1 in conference play. They lost to EIU in their conference opener. Their 3 wins are against Evansville, Northern Illinois and Harris-Stowe. KK Rodriguez is their leading scorer at 22ppg

Anyone know what Dins injury is? Will she be back soon? She is definitely needed if we want to competete with the top teams in the conference.

Heard in JD's post-game interview ankle injury for Dins. Doubted she would be back for two home games this week yet, but did say progressing better than thought.

WILP-FM said that the teams did a shoot-around at the SIU-E Arena on Saturday.  The teams stayed in downtown St Louis.

Western wins 81-75

Allie Meadows led the Western scoring with 18 points.  She also had 9 rebounds.

jasmine Nichols had a double-double:  11 points and 11 rebounds.

Addi Brownfield also had 11 rebounds.

Attendance at SIU-Edwardsville = 1,021
