Chicago State, 3-9 going into this game with wins over Southern Indiana, Morgan State, and Stetson, took down #25 Northwestern, who was 7-1 going into this game. Northwestern had, 2 weeks ago, beaten then #1 Purdue in OT and their only loss was to Mississippi State.

I think they are worthy of an OVC invite.  Also looks like they are moving for scholarship FCS football in 2025.
Embrace the pace of the race.

They're joining the NEC in 2024. They'd probably prefer the OVC (less travel) once football is established though.

Today is the last game of the season for Chicago St's men team. Per a tweet they played 30 games in 102 days. Twice this season they played 4 games in 8 days.

They are currently 11-18, their best record since 2013-24
