Roger that!!!!!!!!!!  Unless something changed in the last year.  USI is apparently working on trying to take the short path to eligibility and qualify next year.
Southern Indiana has looked tough in the 2 games so far.

Small pep band at the game today. A few cars/vans drove down this morning (including me). A few of us are driving back tonight after the game.

Good to hear that !!    Have to hope that there will be a few left to play at tomorrow's championship game if we win today !!

The Pep Band has been there for this team all season.

The girls just looked gassed in the 4th but the team that we saw in the tournament was the team I thought we were going to see all season JD said it in one of the news conference that they kind of had a disappointing season. If we can keep Raegan this team has a chance to very good next year.

It looks like we lose (to graduation/end of eligibility):
Kennedy Flanagan - 7.4 minutes per game, 1.3 points per game, 1.4 rebounds per game
Mallory McDermott - 26.3 minutes per game, 8.7 points per game, 1.7 rebounds per game
Jasmine Nichols - 5.8 minutes per game, 1.4 points per game, 1.8 rebounds per game

Of our big scorers, Reagan McCowan is a Sophomore, Mia Nicastro is a Junior, Addi Brownfield is a Junior, Allie Meadows is a Junior, Madison Davis is a Freshman, and Kaylen Reed is a Sophomore. Those are all the players who averaged more than 15 minutes per game.

McDermott is the only 30+ game starter who we know will be gone next year.

If we are somehow able to keep McCowan, Nicastro, Brownfield, Meadows, Davis, and Reed next year (unlikely we'll keep them all because of the current state of the transfer portal, but we can hope) that should be a pretty good team. Nicastro, Brownfield, and Meadows will all be experienced Seniors, although the year after that might be a bit rough unless some of our younger players and incoming transfers really step up.

We have a good nucleus coming back if they all do.  Ball handling skills really need addressed over the off-season.  Way too many TOs, especially when defense pressured the ball.  Sort of like what happened last night in Sherrard when Manual was all over Sherrard with double teams full court.

Glad to hear some of the pep band did and thanks for going and doing that also Scott. Stinks that the team started to figure things out this late in the season, but glad to see them finish the season strong. The lack of depth/bench really hurt this season.

I thought this also, they need to bring in a guard, hopefully a transfer or a junior college player that can help right away.

Did you go to the Sherrard game last night?
