I've spent plenty of time over the years checking rosters on ESPN, looking to see how many teams players have been on.  Even prior to this shitshow, basketball always seemed to have guys that have been at 3 schools.  Now, it basically every player.  I remember finding guys with 3 and even a 4 leaf clover before.  Best is finding a guy who leaves and 2 years later is back at the same school!!!

Guess this was shown during a recent game.

Definitely a complete overhaul of the program as i see the last two guys (knox, powell) who saw playing time last year, are transferring.  I don’t believe we will have anyone returning that saw the court.  Idk for some reason i kinda like it.  I think this bunch of recruits will get the program back on target.  It does make me wonder if we didnt try to keep a couple of them tho?  I remember Coach Boudy saying that was one regret he had going into last year was that he didn’t try to keep a few, just for continuity sakes..guess we will see how it plays out

Not sure if there is interest on either side, but on the outside seems like a possible match. Talton averaged 7ppg this past season for Lindenwood. Would have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Talton sat out this season and avg 7 on a bad lindenwood team I don’t see it happening

We weren't much better than Lindenwood...

And now im seeing where AJ Dixon is out as well as Augillard, who wasnt signed but committed..Makes me wonder if Coach Clancy is leaving because he coached those guys at Triton I believe..Things are feeling a bit weird now…if everything is because we are getting even better players than thats great but im not so sure if thats what it is..wish there was a bit of transparency lol

Kinda stinks they redshirted Dixon, then doesn't even stick around. I don't think they should redshirt anybody the way the current system is. Does seem kinda weird that basically the whole roster has entered the portal.

The transfer portal is making it tougher and tougher to remain a fan of college sports.  Or maybe it is just old age settling in for me.
Whether pro or college, one is relatively at ease when you know the infield will be Santo, Kessinger, Beckert and Banks from one year to the next seemingly forever.

There's a reason why I stopped doing my in-depth tracking of football recruits, commitments, and what positions we have lots of experience in. When half the football team is completely new every year, it doesn't seem like there's much of a point. Ditto for when nearly the entire basketball team is new.

I'll still go to games, cheer for the Leathernecks, play in the pep band, but the days of watching a kid come in as a freshman, redshirt, then play a solid 4 years before possibly going on to play in Europe are over. Any kid good enough to do that is likely to transfer to a bigger school after a year or two.

It’s why the girls are so much easier to watch and keep up with not a ton of players transfer out and we don’t bring in a ton of transfers
