In the win yesterday Payton Brown hit 3 home runs, Brown now has 12 homers on the season.

Western will have a 2:00 PM home game on Wednesday vs UMKC.  Then a home weekend series vs SIU-Edwardsville.

The OVC Tournament begins May 7 in Peoria.

How can you have the player of the year in the conference, which Payton Brown was named today and only win 7 games in the conference. If they could have swept Morehead St the last place team and get to 10 conference wins, I could see a case to keep Goler, but getting swept by the last place team, who only had 3 conference wins at the time is not a good look.
