Another week, another trip down to Tennessee...this time against the Skyhawks of UT Martin. Like us, UTM is 1-5 this season, although they do have the 8th toughest schedule in the FCS (including technically 3 FBS games), so take that record with a grain of salt. They started off the season with a 27-7 loss at FBS Oklahoma State, then a 42-17 loss at FBS UTEP. In their home opener, they hosted FCS top 25 ranked Southern Illinois, falling 37-10, then went back on the road to now-FBS (probably FCS when originally scheduled) Missouri State, where they lost 42-10. They picked up their first win at home against SEMO, 34-10, but then lost 30-14 at Lindenwood.

Massey gives us about a 22% chance of winning this game, with a predicted score of 38-24 for the Skyhawks: https://masseyratings.com/game.php?gid=1837993

Was there supposed to be a new football field? I thought there was some discussion that it was supposed to be installed this Fall.

Originally was going to happen last spring, but had to be put off a year.

Well our defense played better Freshman QB still doing well.  Tough loss missing fg at end.  Going for youth movement have some nice hs recruits coming in.

What a game. Was at a sports themed wedding where they had all the games on and bartender threw the Necks on one of the tvs for us. Great clock management on the last drive by freshman QB. Was the illegal motion penalty legit? Announcers were vague when Holman scored what would have been the go ahead td.  4th quarter 3 & outs were troublesome and the UTM “throw it up” plays killed us. Still would have bet my $ on Chadha to bang home the game winner. One of the top kickers in FCS this fall.
