Been checking Eli Aragon's X the last few weeks as I figured he'd be back in the portal after a limited role at Coastal.  He's now in.

SIU just got back WR Allen Middleton from Bowling Green, so fingers crossed we can work the same magic.

If Anaya stays (still worried about that), we get back Aragon and this Israel Hiraldo is as good as he looks, we'll have one hell of passing attack.

I know they aren't transfers but I think Freshmen Xavier Coleman and Marquan Brewster could help us right away at WR.

OL Montgomery

Montgomery committed to San Diego State (technically currently Mountain West, but will be Pac 12 this summer).

With that being said I see Markell Holman has announced he is entering the portal. This doesn't surprise, he had a good season and is probably looking to move up and get some NIL money.

Going to edit this post with players I see have entered the portal

Holman
TC Molk (QB)
Brendan Dignan (OL)
Tyrese Buffkin (DB)
Cordell Wilson (DB)
Esteban Guillory (LB)
Ernest Temple (RB)

Sounds like Holman has committed to Wyoming, so a big step up for him.

In case anyone is curious about numbers. As of Wednesday morning this week, there were 10,576 football players who had entered the portal. Of those, 6,846 were still active and looking for a team. A lot of those players aren't going to find a place to hang their helmet.

The younger Christian Pierce is joining his brother at Michigan.  I was always annoyed that our roster/profile has the older CP stats on the younger ones profile as well.  Now its funny that there's tweets about him transferring to Michigan after making 100 tackles, event hough he appeared in 0 games. The Detroit News, which is a major publication used a picture of the the older one making a tackle at Illinois.....funny, but funny.

Antonio Chadha is headed to Pitt. P4 FBS level, plus a lot closer to home (he's originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia).
