Based on who our AD has hired as the head coach for sports, coach Goler looks like a high performer

Looks like Coach Goler has been let go (or not renewed). She’s no longer listed on the University directory under athletics: http://directory.wiu.edu/facultystaff/D ... ollegiate/

She took a job as an assistant coach at Texas St. So I think technically she left on her own before she was let go, but not sure I guess.

Their best player. Peyton Brown is following Goler to Texas St. Not sure if any of the recruits are still coming or not, but it will probably be a long season next year for whoever they hire.

Package deal?   Yep, very late in the year to be making coaching changes.  I often scratch my head and wonder how successful we could be by recruiting a few 2 sport athletes (e.g. volleyball and softball).

Embrace the pace of the race.

I don't know if he was wanting the job, but I did see Colin Hopkins who was Goler's lead assistant announced he took an assistant job elsewhere, so he won't be the new coach.
