Opponent: FBS University of Wisconsin Badgers

Game Time: Saturday, September 12 at 6:15 PM

Location: Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, WI

Last Year: Wisconsin finished 4-8 overall with a 2-7 record in the Big 10

This Year: The FBS games didn't fully get started until this last weekend, so UW has played one game so far, on Sunday against #4 Notre Dame, at Lambeau Field. The Badgers started off pretty well, only down by a FG at halftime, but Notre Dame exploded in the second half to come away with a 41-13 victory.

History: The Leathernecks and Badgers have met up three times, all at Madison, and all being won by Wisconsin. 31-13 in 1991, 34-10 in 2006, and 37-3 in 2014.

Projections: Massey Ratings gives us a 0% chance of a win, with a predicted score of 45-7. ESPN says we have about a 1% chance (but to be fair, idk if their predictor ever shows 0%). Considering how we played against Illinois State, I don't see us coming away with a win...but of course, that's not usually the point with FBS games. Let's have a great day in Madison (one of the best college towns), have no major injuries, come away with a big check, and go beat up on Morehead State at Family weekend.

9-23 playing scrappy

There lines are so much larger and more physical,  not too bad so far, but I think we get tired with their size

Soon as I posted 9-30 incoming,  Keep fighting boys

Seemed a little better than last week I was at the balloon rally so I didn't catch the game. ISU beat NIU

Followed game on live stats seemed like we gave a good effort.  Thought true freshman Cody Moss from Springfield state champ in Hvwt wrestling played well on defense only lineman with a tackle made 4.  We have such a hard time running ball against big ten schools.  Good over 300 yards of offense. Should get healthy next week against Morehead St.  We can go Western.

I missed the 1st qtr, but I was impressed with what I saw of the game, they seemed to be able to move the ball, just had mistakes (penalties) that made them settle for FGs or not score at all. I feel a lot better about the team than i did after last week. I thought McGill looked good. Hopefully they out of the game without any major injuries.
