All games on Saturday, October 3rd and on ESPN+ unless otherwise stated. I'll also include predicted margin by Massey Ratings to give you an idea of how close the games are expected to be. I've added rankings in each team's respective subdivision (RV = received votes but are outside the top 25).

Last night, the #1 FCS team and defending national champ lost to previously winless Idaho, 35-34 on a last second TD (and 2-point conversion for the win rather than tie).

Here's a full-game highlights video, but the "exciting ending" starts at around 9:30:

Gardner-Webb beat Charleston Southern 12-10
South Dakota State beat Illinois State, 31-14
North Dakota beat Murray State, 55-28
South Dakota beat Indiana State, 44-14
Youngstown State beat Southern Illinois, 28-16

And our other D1 opponents this season:
Wisconsin beat Michigan State, 31-3
Valparaiso beat Morehead State, 37-3
North Alabama beat Eastern Kentucky, 20-16

I didn't mention it in the first post, but for the curious, NDSU is (not suprisingly) having success at the FBS level. They beat Wyoming 28-0 last weekend and are currently 5-0.

SDSU is #1 in the FCS and is a much better team than NIU.
Idk what happened at UNI.
