NDSU pulled one out of the wahzoo. UNI did everything but score more points. They will be a tough test next week but if we play like we did today, we should have a good shot at them. Been watching Farley closely for last couple of years. He screws up a lot but never screws up the same way two games in a row.
Embrace the pace of the race.
UNI - 28
NSDU - 31
Final
Very back-and-forth game at the end, 5 lead changes...all in the 4th quarter. Last one with the ball wins, and that's NDSU, putting up 21 points in the 4th to win by 3.
ISUr - 31
YSU - 23
4:18 left in the 4th Quarter
MSU - 23
SIU - 66
7:12 left in the 4th Quarter
Figured SIU would win...didn't know it'd be by that much. Too bad we don't play MSU this year.

All are finals now:
UNI - 28
NDSU - 31
ISUr - 31
YSU - 29
Last play, YSU onside kicked to ISU and the ISU player pushed the ball out of bounds. Should have been a penalty (and I think YSU's ball), but they didn't call it that way. Either team could have won depending on how the refs felt today.
MSU - 15

I think that the college rule on this is different than the NFL.ST_Lawson wrote: ISUr - 31

In the NCAA, it is a foul only if the ball is batted towards the opponent's goal line.
Yea, you're right. Someone posted the official rule over on AnyGivenSunday.com in the game thread. They can bat it, just not "forward", and there wasn't enough evidence (or camera angles) to prove that it went forward at all. Didn't look obviously one direction or the other to me, so it probably could have gone either way...so they had to go with how it was called on the field, which was no penalty.wiu712 wrote:I think that the college rule on this is different than the NFL.ST_Lawson wrote: ISUr - 31
