Anyone else starting to feel a Cubs vibe going on? Over the last few years it has just been next year, next year and we really have only shown a bit of improvement. All our young players have grown up and we still struggle, I am no expert so I cannot pinpoint our problems, but I am sure it is a combination of everything from lack of facilities to draw high talent recruits to coaching and at times to players butting heads. It just has not seemed like we have gotten our groove that I was expecting over last 3 years. After next year I do not know what to say about team if they do not go to playoffs. We are broke so no money for facility improvements to help draw more fans and help with recruiting. Our coaches have not got it done yet and if Coach N ends with 4 losing seasons I doubt he will continue at WIU. Even if we end up 5-5 this season that means that we can expect next years talented senior offense to get 1 more win at 6-5? Just a little disappointed. Maybe next year is the holy grail, but as of right now nothing is making me think it is going to be.

Not quite there yet. But if we get one of these in the Hanson Field vicinity, we will be there.

Western Hall is a glorified gymnasium, I am sure what they do will be nice, but still is not close to DI level arena. Anything is better than what we have though so I will be interested to see what it looks like.

And now back to football. It's time for this team to play with some physicality and emotion from start to finish. It''s frustrating to watch this team the last few weeks and play with no intensity what so ever.

Go Neck!

Let's take it to another level and come out like Devil Dogs this week.

Looks like Norvell is out tomorrow. Lenoir tweeted to get better and McGuire's has a shoutout for his first career start tomorrow.

Think Sean is a very capable QB and like our chances just as much tomorrow.
