WIU is turning into the Iowa State of women's basketball with all the transfers. 2 more transfers were announced yesterday. 1 from Toledo and 1 from Florida Gulf Coast

The really interesting thing to me is that they both played for the Wisconsin Lakers AAU program and that makes a total of 6 players on the current roster who played for the Lakers. That has to be unprecedented in DI basketball. JD has found his "honey pot"- he may never get that premier player but he will always get players who are very fundamentally sound and they might even have a little built-in "chemistry" from the very get-go. What a benefit that is to a coach. :D
Embrace the pace of the race.

Here's some more info on the one from Florida Gulf Coast: http://www.hngnews.com/milton_courier/s ... 2518a.html

She's originally from Milton, WI (just north of Janesville in southern WI) and as was mentioned before, already knows/has played with some of the girls currently on our team. She'll sit out a year due to transferring "horizontally", but should be ready to go in the '16/'17 season and should have 3 seasons of playing time eligibility for us.

Haven't seen this posted to the athletics site or their facebook page, but it popped up in my news search.
Western signed Senior Andi Pierce from Garber, OK (near Enid, OK): http://www.enidnews.com/sports/garber-s ... f9002.html

Article says she averaged 23.4 points and 8.2 rebounds last season.

Here's the update from athletics: http://goleathernecks.com/news/2015/11/ ... 53046.aspx

In addition to the previously mentioned Andi Pierce, there's also Sam Pryor from Elgin, IL.
