Also, if Illinois State beats Richmond tonight, the MVFC will be 4-1 in the playoffs against non-MVFC teams (only loss was SDSU at Montana in the first round).
Overall, the conference is currently 5-2 in the playoffs (one of the losses was our loss at ISU).

Richmond executing very well on both sides of ball. I won't shed any tears if the 'Birds don't come back in this one. They are our competition when it comes to recruiting.

Does ISU move to the Power I to get Coprich another blocker like last week? We will see shortly.

BTW, Richmond is using it well.

I'm liking the way this Richmond team looks. Guess I'm a sore loser, but I want to see ISU get their butts kicked.

I would normally root for fellow MVFC teams in the playoffs, but you're right on the recruiting thing. We're in direct competition with ISU for some of the better athletes across central Illinois and the Chicago area. If ISU's best argument in terms of success is making the playoffs (but not making it to or winning the championship game) then that's about the same as our argument in the same aspect.

I think the Bison winning is less of an issue, because there isn't really that much overlap between our recruiting areas.

Why couldn't Roberson do that against us?

If Roberson can lead them back from this deficit, I will be impressed.

A play here, play there usually determines a game like this. That penalty by ISU which negated TD an absolute game-changer. Richmond is very impressive.
