Within the past two hours Coach Moose and Bill O'Boyle have announced on Twitter they are "Proud to be Coyotes." Moose will be OL coach. Not sure on O'Boyle

i noticed that when you go to the roster on the athletics page that none of the coaches are listed they must not be expecting any of the coaches to be retained.

Why is that surprising to you? Didn't you post that you wanted O'Boyle to be head coach at WIU?

Not surprising that he got a job, I think he means surprising that he didn't get a HC position at the FCS level or assistant at FBS level. He was kinda expected to go "higher".

If we'd ended up hiring Blazek or Yelk for HC, we likely would have kept some of the staff, but when the HC and all coordinators leave, you rarely have any of the existing staff stick around unless they have a particularly strong attachment to the school. Plus, Nielson likely offered many of them jobs at USD, and when you have a job offer at one place and compare that to waiting around here to see if the new HC will want to give you an interview to try for the same position you were just in...it's kinda a no-brainer. Especially if you've got a family, you've got to take the "sure-thing".

Yeah i'm kind of surprised that i haven't heard anything about Yelk Bradley or Crutchley going anywhere yet.
