Covington is definitely forcing it. He has put up a lot of "my turn" shots instead of letting the game come to him.
Haas is like a big bully that they let get away with a lot!
There were thoughts Jabari may have been done during the 1st Eastern Illinois game, but he was going to play through if possible. Tonight's injury does not look good going into conference.

Haas has size 22 shoes. Looks every bit of that.

Billy should have emptied his bench just like Painter did. But just a minor detail in this one.

The overall energy at least seemed better for the first half. Purdue was just too big and physical and they dominated everything inside. Offense had solid spurts in the first half to keep the game interesting. Duff and Miklusak played well. Covington a bit off tonight, but when he is the only real scoring threat in any given game on a consistent basis, teams will do all they can to make sure he doesnt beat them on his own.
Did anyone else notice Jabari went through the line at the end of the game on crutches?
I think DeLo played well if he has now inherited a starting position, but unfortunately he is the only point guard so someone else is going to have to play that position also.

Remember the old cheer from HS days:
We're waitin', we're waitin', we're waiting for the <nickname>.
That what goes thru a guy's mind when we have to wait forever for Billy's post-game comments. LOL
