Western Softball will open the home season with a three-game series vs Fort Wayne on Saturday with a double-header starting at 12 Noon.

Western Softball sweeps Fort Wayne on Saturday.

Western won the first game 5-0.

Western then won the second game 10-9 by scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the last inning.

Weather: Sunny and 32.

Attendance at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium = 169.

Game 3 will be Sunday at 11 AM.

Western Softball won Sunday's game 7-3 to sweep the series with Fort Wayne.

Attendance at McKee Stadium = 212.

Western Softball will play a double-header at Iowa State on Saturday. First game is at 1PM.

Saturdays double-header at Iowa State has been cancelled due to rainy weather and wet field conditions. The games will not be re-scheduled.

Western's next game will be on Tuesday at Iowa. Game time is 7PM.

Attendance at Iowa = 480.

The team will now be at home for 3 games vs Omaha. It will start with a double-header on Saturday. First game will be at 12 Noon.
