I don't think so. I think the Tennessee Tech game was just because we otherwise would have had to play Saint Xavier. We were able to work out a date with TTU so we'd have a full DI schedule. I think it was just a bonus that we happen to be recruiting quite a bit in the Tennessee/Georgia area and had some families that were probably able to show up for that game.

Played in 3 games last year, including getting a TD against TTU. Putting him in for that might have been because he's from around there and it would be nice to have him get a TD in front of his friends and family, but I don't think we'd schedule a football game solely because of where a new freshman player is from.

GV Dad is correct...J’Len transferred to the University of Memphis and is listed on their roster. He will Redshirt this year.

I spoke with Shabar at the spring game and he said Macomb wasn’t for J’Len plus his girlfriend was in Memphis. Shabar loves Macomb, the staff and his teammates.
