Long-time Western fans will remember that games with Eastern Illinois would fill Western Hall. Fans would be lined-up going down University Drive waiting to get in.
Times have certainly changed.
On Saturday night, a very small crowd of only 522 were at the game. That has to be considered a very disappointing turnout.

NOTE: Just playing around with Dropbox. Can anyone else see this image?
Update: Apparently changing the "dl=0" part at end of Dropbox link to "raw=1" does the trick.
Embrace the pace of the race.

The 2012-13 season was when the top bleachers were opened up. Attendance was "4,163" for SDSU and "3,973" for NDSU. That season we played EIU in Charleston. The following season at Western Hall attendance for EIU game was announced as 1,585.they got close with cc/tp but I think they only drew 2500-4500. I can’t remember for sure. I remember a SDST game people up in the top bleachers.

*The crowd at Western Hall was 5,021
The era of heavily inflated attendance figures.

True, but there weren't many empty seats in the house that day...that much I know.beauspencer wrote: Tue Dec 11, 2018 1:14 pm *The crowd at Western Hall was 5,021
