So ETSU just hired a coach who got his masters from WIU. He’s also Galesburg high school graduate.

Looks like Denver has officially pulled the plug on Turgeon. He was put on administrative leave in January.
To be replaced by none other than former Leathernecks player and assistant coach, Doshia Woods. Woods had spent the last 10 years on the staff at Tulane. Prior to that, a couple of years at Missouri, 3 at Oregon State, 1 at New Mexico State, and where she started her coaching career with 3 seasons for Western. Woods is still in the WIU record books with the 7th best season for 3-pts (tied with Higginbotham's 18/19 season), the 9th best career FT % with a streak of 21 in a row at one point. She was the team's assists leader in '00/'01, and the 3-pt leader in '99/'00 and '00/'01 and was named to the all-conference second team in '00/'01.leatherneckcountry wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 10:54 am Looks like Denver has officially pulled the plug on Turgeon.
