My hope and prayer for the upcoming season is that Defense gives up fewer yards per rush attempt than the Offense earns on the other side of ball.
If you do that consistently, you will win a few games.

Just a quick bit of "housekeeping" as we're wrapping up the season.
This year, we averaged 2850.6 attendees per home game, which is only slightly lower than last year and the lowest since 2019's 1-10 season.
Attendance was brought down quite a bit by the cold and rainy game against Tennessee State when we only had 1,459 fans.
Our 4,827 that was at the home opener against McKendree was the highest attended game since Homecoming 2022 (7,271).
Our average attendance was 45% of our total enrollment. Other than 2022 (where we somehow hit 57%), that's the highest since 2016.
