Anyone else about to give up on this season

There is never any fun in giving up hope. We are still a very young team. Hopefully the break over the last couple of weeks can generate some growth and rejuvination. The team has some shooting talent. Hopefully we can generate some more consistency on the offensive end and some more stout defense throughout the second half of conference play. A middle seed for the conference tournament would be nice to make a late run. Always think glass half full I guess. Winning means confidence if we can figure out a way to win a few, especially a game or two on the road.

Let me clarify. I have given up on NCAA bid for this season. I hope to see WIU get into The Big Dance before I shrug off this mortal coil, but it won't be this year. And, like I said, I have been following the Necks since 1969 when I first went to school at WIU. So you can't really say I give up early. It's just that we need a difference maker. Covington is close, but has no supporting cast, especially as far as bigs are concerned. The 6-8 recruit we just signed may help. At least it's a hope. But not this year. Hope I'm wrong.

Has anyone looked at Covingtons stats . He is the reason we lose . Not the reason we win. He has had 2 maybe 3 good games. He can be shut down by a good defenders easy.
JC Fuller and Dalan Ancrum can get there own shot and defend. Note ..that after they pulled Covington against NDSU For throwing up 9 bricks. Ancrum and JC took over and it was even from then on.. Hellooo!! The starters get us behind 10 points in the first 3 minutes of every loss.
I think every one can see we should play some zone. If he plays man against Denver the Princeton offense will eat us up again just like in Denver. Sorry this is coaching not all a talent issue. JC is way better than Cov. And we are gonna lose Ancrum if they don't realize he is a big time future baller . sorry this is obvious
