JD is not going to be pleased with our defense on in-bounds plays under bucket. Holy Crap.
Embrace the pace of the race.
Not looking good. 20 seconds left. Down 83-77. Fouling every possession

Got outplayed today by SEMO in every facet. This might be one of the problems when come off a blowout win. It will not be near as easy the next time out.
Embrace the pace of the race.
SEMO was very physical, very quick (especially the previously mentioned #3). That, combined with long stretches where we couldn't seem to hit anything (especially when all we were going for were 3-pointers) were what doomed us. Just couldn't keep up.
Just checked, here's #3: http://www.gosoutheast.com/roster.aspx? ... ath=wbball
She's 5'3", a freshman, was one of the top players in Indiana in HS, and was part of a 4x400 meter relay that got 3rd in the state...so yea....she's fast.

Unfortunately, live by the 3, die by the 3. We have got to figure out how to go inside for more than just a kickout pass.

Looks like she had the best game of her young career - I was worried about the 3pt shooting, when they are going in it is great and leads to blowouts, but when they don't and lead to losses against teams they probably shouldn't be losing to.
Michelle Maher tied her career high of 29 points.
Western attempted 48 three-pointers and made 12 (25%).
Western was 14 for 21 on free throws (67%). SEMO was 17 for 23 (74%).
The attendance at Western Hall was 1,246: 4th best attendance in program history.
