Goff footwork in the pocket is better than Wentz right now. Spend the next year putting in some time in the boxing ring so he can learn to "float like a butterfly" and Carson's footwork would surpass that of Goff. His arm and ability to read are already better.
Embrace the pace of the race.
That's pretty much what everyone was saying...."higher ceiling". Goff might be a bit better in some aspects now, but a lot of analysts are thinking that 5 years down the road, Wentz will be the better QB. The stuff that he's a little "deficient" in now is stuff that can fairly easily be fixed with some nfl-level coaching and some hard work on his part (something I'm sure he's not afraid of....he's got that midwest work ethic).sealhall74 wrote:Goff footwork in the pocket is better than Wentz right now. Sounds like Philly #1 QB Sam Bradford is unhappy and asking for a trade. Carson may be getting his feet wet sooner rather than later.

Not that we did not already know it, but this statement by Carson pretty much explains the secret to the Bison success:
"We'd win a national championship and then the next week in the weight room, our strength coach wouldn't let anybody wear their national championship gear. If you had something on, he made you literally turn it inside out. He'd make you take it off and change or just give you a new shirt to wear. It's just kind of the mindset. It's hard work and onto the next one."

A group of long-time Eagle fans were at the Philly airport to welcome Carson Wentz to town. But when he refused to do autographs, he was loudly booed.
It's Philly...they'll boo anyone.

Here's a list of the undrafted free agents for the various teams: http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/4/30/1 ... raft-udfas
Not seeing anyone from Western (I think the only one that was even somewhat "likely" was Nikko Watson), but I'll keep an eye on things to see if he signs anywhere or gets brought in for a tryout or anything. Decent number of small-school guys there, including a few MVFC players.
