Non-conference game at Nebraska added for November 9th, 2021. That means we'll get to see Kobe Webster again.
There's also three games in a row where the guarantee is paid for by bdG Sports, which hosts a bunch of basketball and golf events around the country (like, basketball early-season tournaments).
11/20 (Sat) - at DePaul (Big East)
11/22 (Mon) - at Northern Kentucky (Horizon League)
11/24 (Wed) - at Eastern Michigan (MAC)
We're getting $50k for each game, but I don't know yet if that is the case that they'll be a tournament somewhere, or if they're just a series of games. Here's bdG's previous events (plus two that have been scheduled for this fall): https://bdglobalsports.com/#!/events

Yup, that's where I got the info from...guess I should have read it better. DePaul MTE (Multi-Team Event), so a small, likely round-robin tournament. I suppose it'll be at DePaul, which might be fun for our Chicago-area fans.leatherneckcountry wrote: Fri Jul 02, 2021 2:06 pm https://d1docket.blogspot.com/2021/07/j ... pdate.html here's some more info about our schedule towards the bottom including being part of a depaul MTE

It should be fun to see how this team looks and plays with all the new faces. With Carius returning as a primary offensive, I hate to say that I am optimistically feeling pretty positive the team should be moving in the right direction.

We'll be playing 2 Big 10 teams this year now.
We've been added to the schedule for Iowa on December 29th.

This is in addition to our game at Nebraska to start the season.

Anyone know why we are always last to announce our schedule?

We need a "Hoops Hoopla" (some call it "Midnight Madness") kickoff event for this year. How about 2 weeks from now the Friday before the Jacks come to town. Hell, we could be 3-0 in the conference at that time. A little extra campus enthusiasm that weekend could not hurt.
Embrace the pace of the race.

I don't know it is disappointing in that the limited fans we do have for this brand of basketball have very little ability to plant it into one's schedule.4EverPurple&Gold wrote: Thu Sep 30, 2021 10:11 am Anyone know why we are always last to announce our schedule?
