Word has it that there are a bunch of kids coming in this weekend. Keep in mind that some may be walkons as well...

Even after Feb 3, there is some time to find that "Diamond in the Rough" as final signing date is not until April 1.
Embrace the pace of the race.

One of them is the previously mentioned Maxwell Gober (http://www.leathernecknation.net/forum/ ... 9183#p9183) from Madison, WI.

Ha....man, when these coaches go "in"...they are "all in".

For reference, 708 is mostly near west and south suburbs out to around Peotone: http://www.allareacodes.com/708

"QBs Beware...", "#LeatherneckStrong up front!!!!"...so, yea...it does sound like a defensive lineman of some kind

Nice to see one area of question is being answered all the sudden a major weakness could become a strength.

Yea, if we get the commits that it looks like, our D-line will be very good, but also young. Might not be an overnight thing (will probably want to redshirt some guys when possible), but after a year or two....watch out.

Meh...they're seniors in their last semester of HS.
I don't know about anyone else, but my last semester in HS, I was taking easy classes, had an extra free hour, signed up for choir just for the hell of it (I'd never done it before and it seemed interesting), and spent half my time hanging out in the band and choir rooms. I can't imagine that these guys have too difficult of schedules, unless they've had trouble and have to make sure to pass a class or two to graduate.

Looks like they made a stop off at All Pro Sports Performance in Chicago to check out some talent...
