Who do you want to see as a new HC?

I am hearing going to be National search no conference today.

No idea....maybe they couldn't come to terms on $ with Yelk....or maybe Nielson/USD made him a solid offer.
I don't have any idea, but this is not what we needed right now.

I wasn't opposed to looking externally for a new HC (see my earlier comment on Hecklinski), but it doesn't look good to outside "viewers" (ie, HS coaches, new recruits, parents, etc.) that they said they were probably going to have everything together today, strong rumors of someone being hired, and then...as was described by some..."everything going sideways" and now having to do a national search.

Would be great to have a Leatherneck alum as coach, but who knows?

My guess is USD is snagging most of the assistants, too. Including Yelk.

At least the interim AD doesn't have to worry about any of this. I guess he is just hoping this situation will resolve itself and he can enjoy his vacation.
