I might be wrong here, but I would think some unrelated academic programs on campus might benefit during the building of the PAC. Seems to be right up the alley for students in Construction and Facilities Mgmt, Supply Chain Mgmt, maybe others. Nothing like a meaningful internship right on campus.
Embrace the pace of the race.
I am in a remote location and so can't go see for myself, so ...
Is there a new updated drawing of the Goldfarb center? The one with the naming announcement looks like the same one as the website, but from a different "angle." I thought the size was cut back due to cost.
Also, having the construction cameras is great for real updates, but on the north side the camera is too close to see a large portion of the work, and the south camera cuts off the top where the bulk of construction is happening now.
Otherwise, minus a few moans and groans, looks to be coming along good.

Following up now ... great new north camera angle, very clear, and it was like wow, 1/4 of the building just appeared on top. Nice change and much better view for all. South end ... still a little close and fuzzy. But hey, it got better so nix complaints. Nice work, somebody.

Anybody on here have any news on the progress of Goldfarb Center for the Performing Arts (hope I got the name right). Is the completion date sometime in the Fall of this year? I am curious as to who is lined up for the inaugural show. If there isn't anything lined up by now it needs to happen soon.
I think that supply-chain issues has pushed back the opening to the fall of 2026.

Oh, ok thanks 712 for informing me of what I guess most people might have known. No urgency to book any show.
Officials target May 2026 completion for Western Illinois University performing arts center.
