Another update...looks like Reutz (Center from Franklin, WI...Sean McGuire's hometown) committed to USD:

So we lose a few former commits...I can guarantee it won't happen next year!!! Plus this will allow the new staff to offer the kids they really want to offer. Just frees up another scholarship is all. It's better thatbthis staff bring in their own players anyway!
Even though i thought he would stay with Wiu i don't think its a big loss would have been surprised to see him play much he's more like a backup O- Lineman.

Wonder how the visits this weekend are going.
Hopefully they bring them through at the girls game so we can get a look @ them.

Ah, good call. I'm filling in for one of the regular pep band members at today's game, so I'll keep an eye out for them.

Hey Nation members, let's not forget this staff was anticipating losing some of these kids if not all...but in this business they always have to have a plan B. Doesn't mean they will sacrifice talent and just award a scholarship. They want their own players that will help them accomplish their goals...in other words they need to fit the new offensive and defensive scheme that will be introduced in the spring!

The kids that are staying committed and true to their words are the ones you want here and they will make great teammates because they believe in this staff and Western Illinois University!

Absolutely, leatherneck57. That's why I am curious to see who they've been working with that we don't know about. 8-)

Id say Viti is an upgrade over judge, if he does commit. Two star safety according to rivals and was headed to Maryland.

Oh, he committed...and yea, this is huge. The kid was one of the top players in the region, recruited, offered by, and committed to Maryland originally, but flipped to be a Leatherneck.
