I think I might have just applied for the job. Too funny.
Embrace the pace of the race.
I don't think I would be upset if they hired him, He has experience as a head coach at the JUCO level and has been a D1 assistant for a while. Plus he has a master's degree lol.ST_Lawson wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:24 amOh absolutely. I don't think anyone is saying we need to hire someone this week or anything. I don't think there's any harm in us tossing around names that might end up being in the running.Neckfansince71 wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2020 5:11 pm Let's make sure we let the process run it's course toward a successful hiring.
Also, how is it that it seems like there's a ton of decent coaches out there with ties to Macomb? Are there just so many coaches out there that any town can claim a few college basketball coaches or is Macomb a bit above average for that sort of thing (or maybe it's just skewed by the Margenthaler boys)?
Speaking of...
Congrats, Seal Hall !!

I voted for the 1st one and it said the same thing but I don’t have a masters so I’m out of the running.sealhall74 wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2020 9:29 amI voted for the WIU Grad I think. It responded withwiu712 wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2020 9:00 am WGEM POLL: Who should become head coach at WIU?

True, but I think our game against Ball State was something of a fluke because they're having a halfway decent season (17-13).
CMU was doing pretty well too (13-8 overall, 6-2 in conference) until they went on a string of losses, losing 9 straight in February.

Might as well....being this team was about the worst in the country defensively and via RPI. Even a Bat should be able to do better than that!
