Not a ton of feedback yet, but from what I've heard, people generally like him.meganeck wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 10:15 pm Has there been any feedback on what people are thinking of the new President or is it still too early?

Does Dr. A take a cut in pay for that move or is his salary pretty much fixed at what he was earning?

However, the fall-out from Thomas' platinum parachute is leading to legislation that when you return to faculty, you cannot make more than the highest paid faculty, so that would be more than the 25% cut, but likely not a factor yet.

That may change with his decision to nix Abraham.
Unlikely. I think it was pretty much expected. Honestly most people I know were surprised that Dr. Abraham was still around at all after he didn't get the permanent job. Most of the time when a new president comes in, they already have someone in mind for a position as high as provost, preferring to bring in their own person (similarly to how a new head coach in many sports will get rid of most of the old coaching staff and bring in their own people).
I'm not saying that Dr. A. didn't do a great job with the hand that he had been dealt...obviously he did...but it was just unexpected that he would stick around in the provost position afterwards.
