I said earlier this year that I thought 8 wins was a realistic possibility and if we play like we played on Saturday I like our chances.34blast wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 9:50 pm That was a great win, I watched on ESPN+. We sit at 4-4 now. It's possible we end with a winning season. We haven't done that in my calculations since 2017. Let's go! Looks like we are heading in the right direction. Kudos to coach Davis.

I don't know where that Mackenzie kid came from but he was everywhere on defense
I thought the same thing. BJ and Doc mentioned something about a court ruling with him. How did we get this guy? 1st team All OVC a year ago at CSU. https://csusports.com/sports/football/r ... inzie/5996leatherneckcountry wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 12:54 am I don't know where that Mackenzie kid came from but he was everywhere on defense
FCS National Offensive Player of the Week....Kennedy McGill - https://theanalyst.com/articles/fcs-foo ... 026-season
I can't seem to find the last time we had a national player of the week award, but it's probably been a while.
EDIT - I also just noticed that McGill is #6 in rushing yards in the FCS (#1 for QBs) and is tied for #4 for rushing TDs with YSU QB Beau Brungard (who was last year's Walter Payton Award winner).
He's also #39 overall in passing yards (out of 150 ranked QBs on 124 teams).

Hes not even listed on the roster page on the website, speaking of court ruling, I'm assuming the court ruling that supposedly would have allowed Kevin Washington to play this year, either got appealed or didn't get approved, I don't believe he has played this year.NewNeck wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 7:24 amI thought the same thing. This is the team we've been waiting all year to see. If we have found our groove, we will be OK. (Quite frankly, I thought the SEMO game should have been like this as far as performance goes - not necessarily score-wise, but all things clicking along well)34blast wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 9:50 pm That was a great win, I watched on ESPN+.
