Nice writeup bodoyle.

Couple of quick things:
Under the Last Meeting section, our QB is listed as Matt Bahr; is actually Matt Barr.
Also, regarding the Leatherneck nickname, if any of your people are curious as to why we, specifically, have the Leatherneck nickname, here's a good basic history: http://goleathernecks.com/sports/2014/6 ... aspx?id=11

Gonna be a tough game. We'll have to play our best to have a chance against the Chants.

bodoyle posted this over in their forum (http://www.coastalfans.com/forum/index. ... #msg277409), but I thought I'd post it over here too.

According to 5 Dimes:
Western Illinois at Coastal Carolina - Saturday, September 19, 2015 6:00 PM
367 Western Illinois +9½ -120 +260 Over 58 -120
368 Coastal Carolina -9½ -120 -380 Under 58 -120

I don't know much about gambling odds and stuff, but if I'm reading it correctly, they're saying CCU is about a 9.5 pt favorite, with the over/under being 58, right? So essentially, they're predicting a 34-24 CCU win...I think. I don't really know what the other numbers are.

I wonder if that spread is based on us bringing the "A" game or the "C" game to Conway. Or did they just settle on something in-between based on how unpredictable we have been last year or so.

On the Sidelines: WIU heads south to face top-ranked Coastal Carolina.

Hope the boys don't pull and EIU and neglect the hydration preparation. Fair amount of humidity in the air this morning. I had to cut short the beach run because of calf cramp. That has not happened to me in a couple of months. My bad.

Just checked The Weather Channel for Conway, South Carolina:

10AM: Sunny and 78. Humidity = 75%. Winds = NNE at 11 mph. Dewpoint = 69.

Today's high will be 88.

Scott, you're correct on the lines. And Vegas is eerily spot on with their lines in most instances.

I bet on 5Dimes once......it was when WIU played UNLV two years ago. I took WIU and the points, I felt confident WESTERN would cover, after their performance at Minnesota.

I was wrong.

Good bye $100 dollars :D

So far the D looks solid again. Special teams once again killing us. Nice having Nikko back grinding out yards since the line isn't giving him much.

Glad this is a free broadcast. Production is pretty poor camera angles, the commercials and replays are killing me.

I'll be at a surprise party watching on my phone, so can everyone please watch the sideline ref marking the ball. Coming up short a half yard on way to many occasions. Even spoting the a bit extra. Twice he gave then 2 plus yards even though the ball carrier took himself backwards (reception and punt return)'
