I really wish we could have today's weather tomorrow. It's beautiful out. Mid-50s, sunny, not a ton of wind....a great day for late October. Also, the rain hasn't knocked all the leaves off the trees yet (something which is likely to happen somewhat tomorrow morning).

Now this is the kind of entertainment we need during those much too long ESPN3 media timeouts. Love the way Tillman returns the board back to his owner after going for a skim on it. Now that is true talent.

Not to bum everyone out, but apparently Tillman the bulldog died earlier this week at the age of 10: http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/30/us/tillma ... dies-feat/

I was in downtown Peoria this evening, meeting a friend that moved into a 10th floor condo.... which I thought was cool. We had some drinks, I went outside and saw YSU's "gear" trailor, apparently they flew in earlier today and are staying at the Hotel Pere Marquette.

My buddy and my wife and I went to Hoops across from the Pere Marquette and ran into the Play by Play guy, the Color Comentator and team Doctor, they were cool, we talked, Valley football and FCS stuff. They seemed pleased with their Pizza (Youngstown is a huge pizza town) and felt good about flying into Peoria.....I told them it was 'bout 90 min to Western and bout 40 minutes to ISU. They seemed to be impressed with the Peoria airport. Peoria was their kind of town.......Medium size City that's Heyday has passed (obviously Peoria is making huge strides to change that). I asked if they were on the first or second floor of our embarrassing press box. Guy said second floor he thought. I asked if food was provided, he said it wasn't last time he was there. :? I apologized.... and reminded him we are making foam fingers that proclaim Illinois is #50!!!

anyway just thought I would share.

I wonder if Coach Bo demanded Suite 1204. It is Halloween.

I had no idea that Big Al's was named after Al Capone. Learn something new every day.

Not sure when the last time they were at Western, but I know for a fact there was food provided in the press box (both levels) from 2011 to 2014. Both Domino's Pizza and Jimmy John's was served those three years.

Light rain falling this morning in Macomb. Suppose to stop sometime in the afternoon.
It's 49 now and will be 57 in the afternoon.

For fans of local college football, the Truman State at Quincy University game will be televised on KHQA (Quincy) and KTVO (Kirksville). Game time from QU Stadium ("The Rock") is 11AM.
