So.....are you saying you think that Corbett will be getting some starts at LB this year?

Ah, cool.

Yea, if a player hasn't been getting a lot of starting time, now (well...spring and summer practices technically) are when they really want to be working hard to impress the new coaches. New coaches aren't as familiar with whatever players might have done in the past and are probably going to be more willing to put in guys that will work the hardest to improve. I would think it would also help if the player wanted to move (like from LB to S) since the new staff is going to use their own criteria to decide who should play where and when, and are much less likely to just go with whatever the player did in the past.

You are very true in regards too your statement. Within a few weeks it will be a new and fresh start for the Necks, buying into a new staff will be the task. But watching them play and interact last season I believe it will be an easy task.

New to this site, I've been reading comments for a while ,and thought I'd join. I think spring ball will be more crucial than normal, with the great "problem" at QB. How many teams wish they had 2 very capable QBs? I like many on this site want to see more balance on offense and I think we have the personel to do that. I am anxious for signing day to see how many of the previous staffs recruits sign. It seemed like there was a strong class, and I hope they stay committed. Here's to 2016 Leathernecks, the entire staff at WIU,lets get this train rolling.
