Everyone should go take a look at Coach Jeter's BIO. A Coach with his level of experience should be the goal here. And it is also not out the realm of possibility. Believe it or not, even with the school's issues, this is still a top 20 job in FCS.
The fact they have not announced an opening for the position, and that a team has been put together to do a national search is already scary to me. Why wait to get the ball moving and try to be ahead of recruiting and putting coaching staff's together.
Look at what Missouri St did, they hired Bobby Petrino, he has a checkered past, but he has Missouri St heading in the right direction. How long will he stay at Missouri St, who knows. I would think probably not long. I could seem him getting a job at a Mid-Major (Group of 5) school after this year. Then again maybe he is content at where he is at and maybe he has burned his bridges at the higher levels.

Let’s geux after coach O.
the purple and gold will be familiar for him.
I can hear him saying “go necks” already.
I presented that to my son on Friday. He coaches at LSU and Coach O was his step dad. That’s right…Coach O married my ex wife. They divorced back in February. He didn’t think Ed would move to Macomb.

Regardless of whether it's officially been posted or not (I don't see it listed on the list of open administrative positions yet), word is out and applications are coming in. They may not legally be allowed to post it until after this weekend though, just fyi.
