That "ill" or "not quite 100%" (Nielson used that one to justify McGuire over Norvell in ISU playoff game) is a coach's trump card he can pull out if things don't turn out as he would like. I agree with you. If Wentz is good to go, you have to go with him in his last game as a Bison and on the biggest stage in FCS football. At the same time, I agree with a lot of Bisonville in that they got away from the power game with Wentz in lineup earlier in season and I suspect that was mostly just an attempt to showcase him to scouts for the next level. That is dumb. It cost them the opening game against Montana and maybe even the USD game.
Embrace the pace of the race.
Looks like we have our answer...

The FCS championship game will have a longer stay in Frisco. A four-year extension was announced at the annual championship luncheon today.
Toyota Stadium will undergo a $39 million renovation set to begin shortly, a project that will include new video boards, locker rooms, seating, and a soccer hall of fame.
Saturday's forecast for Frisco, TX:
Rain showers early with overcast skies later in the day.
High will be 43.
Winds NNW 15-25 mph.

I hate to be the one to say this but i willing be cheering for ndsu there fans are always class acts when we play them.
I don't have a problem with that. I'll be rooting for NDSU myself. I like that the best team in the history of the FCS is in our conference. It means we get to play the best every year (outside the two years we didn't due to conference scheduling). Plus, NDSU is far enough away that there's not much overlap in our recruiting areas. They generally focus on the Dakotas down to Nebraska and over into Minnesota for the most part. We hit Illinois, Indiana, parts of Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri mostly. So we're not often competing with them for recruits.ibleedpurpleandgold wrote:I hate to be the one to say this but i willing be cheering for ndsu there fans are always class acts when we play them.

1 quarter done. NDSU up 3-0 and driving down the field. Had a couple of kinda lucky breaks so far (almost had to start drive on the 1, but ball barely rolled into end zone, also a near turnover).

JSU needs points this quarter to be in this game. We've seen NDSU eat up nearly an entire quarter with one long drive, then end up with 7 points out of it. If they're still up by 10 or more at halftime, we'll probably see a lot of that in the second half.

And the Bison intercept the ball on the first play of the drive....within the 30. JSU is gonna have a rough time if they never have the ball.

Wentz runs it in for the TD. NDSU up 17-0.
Also Wentz NFL stock probably jumped a bit too.
