Good for Lance and hope he does really well and gets another NFL shot.
I read someone's draft perditions yesterday and saw Mason Sikes going in the TE round. They also had Brandon Mayes going in the safety's round. He was a stud at NIU and came to WIU, but didn't get much action behind Fitz and Griffith. Also had Diggs and Carrera on the back end as well, so don't even see WIU listed for any of his stuff.
Tweet from Dallas Martin this week about also being signed up for the draft.

Lance gets the first catch for Michigan on the season. Had a bad drop later, but last drive a sweet sideline catch and nice route and grab for their first TD!!!!
I missed it, but I think they play this Friday so I'll be watching.letsgonecks wrote: Sun Apr 17, 2022 1:43 pm Lance gets the first catch for Michigan on the season. Had a bad drop later, but last drive a sweet sideline catch and nice route and grab for their first TD!!!!

Wow. All games played in Birmingham. That should make the scouting pretty easy.

If I do the SEC baseball tournament this year (missed the last few), might be able to catch one of these games.
Embrace the pace of the race.
Figured this was probably the best place to mention this, but Lance's brother Landon, who played WR at SIU from 2016-2021 was signed as a undrafted free agent with the Bears.

He was released with an injury designation and no one picked him up, so he had to revert to their IR. He will likely get some sort of payment (injury settlement) and then be released. They determine how much time he could miss with the injury and pay him. They could keep him on IR, but they would have to pay him his full salary and stay on IR all year, I believe. With a settlement, he gets some money and then maybe he signs with another team or they bring him back when healthy and he's on the practice squad. That exact sequence happened with Lacale London last year and the Bears.meganeck wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 9:43 am I see Lance was place on Injured Reserve. Not sure what that means for him going forward.
