Could Hughes be our missing link? IMO, he has done more offensively in limited minutes this half than any big man this year. Ancrum is rather unique. He can play PG and even a stretch 4. He needs about 15 pounds of muscle to take his game to the next level.

yeah ancrum has to have room,, not a power forward,, he is always trying to go baseline and gets stalled by double team, he does better driving from another angle. but all the high ball screens are for covington.

In the early mid 80s, I would go to Fort Meyers base just outside of DC to watch American play. Saw "The Admiral" David Robinson play there numerous times.

According to the broadcast, Miklusak was suspended for the 1st 5 games, for violation of team rules. I don't ever remember this being mentioned. was this ever mentioned in any local media coverage? Maybe Scott mentioned it on the radio coverage, i haven't listened to him yet this year.

I think I recall an arrest for possession while he was out injured during the season or right after it ended. Believe it was pot.
