Other teams in the area:
#9 Iowa State is taking on #8 Syracuse
#7 Depaul is going against #10 Northern Iowa
#8 Green Bay is facing #9 Purdue (in South Bend, IN...there's going to be a good crowd there)
#10 Drake is playing #7 Kansas State

Also, obviously we've got to get past Florida State first, but I'd love a rematch against Mizzou in the second round. For those that forgot, we played Mizzou in the early season (11/29) and only lost by 3 at their place. We're playing some inspired basketball right now and I like our chances in a rematch.

The Western Athletics website is showing that the game will be at 6:30 PM on Friday. The game will be on ESPN2 and ESPN3.

The Summit League placed 3 teams in the Women's NIT: IUPUI, South Dakota, and South Dakota State.

That's pretty impressive too. If the league gets any better we're going to start getting at-large bids to the tournament.

Both Quincy TV stations were at Western Hall for the Tournament Selection Show Watch Party.

Nick Stewart and Nico Haeflinger from KHQA were there. Both are Western grads.
