I did not stick around for the interviews. Was it Kelly Stewart? She played ball for USD.meganeck wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 5:29 pm Not sure how they did it, but a big road win foe the Necks. I didn't understand why at the end they still have Gilbeck in when they were fouling since he isn't a great free throw shooter. Most teams do the offense/defense things with player subs.
The girl doing the color on the broadcast was a stunner...wow!

Typically the USD announcer is pretty good and not much of a homer but he was being a time homer tonight so i turned it off as soon as it was over and listened to the radio interview.sealhall74 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 5:40 pmI did not stick around for the interviews. Yes I believe that is who it was... I wondered if she wasn't a former USD player.sealhall74 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 5:40 pmI did not stick around for the interviews. Was it Kelly Stewart? Yeah the play-by-play guy was a homer, they interviewed Wright and Kobe after the game, which surprised me.leatherneckcountry wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 5:50 pmTypically the USD announcer is pretty good and not much of a homer but he was being a time homer tonight so i turned it off as soon as it was over and listened to the radio interview.sealhall74 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 5:40 pmI did not stick around for the interviews. The real season starts now and the goal becomes setting yourself up for the tournament run. Ideally, you are playing your best ball when you get there. I think we could move up to a 4 slot, maybe even 3. The schedule is very favorable as we play most of the teams ahead of us in the standings AT HOME. The $64K question is can we get the fans to come out and muster some semblance of a home court advantage.
