This would be a HUGE get!  An FCS version of Cam Newton!  If you are on Twitter, give this kid a like, follow and retweet!

Committed today!  This kid could be a program changer. He has the talent for sure.

Best case is 2, but I think 1

Class of 2018

2018 at Ellsworth CC

Spring 21

Fall 21

Scratch that, Spring 21 counts as 2020, which doesn't count at all then, right? So 2.

Now, I don't know that we can get this kid...maybe we'll get lucky (he had an offer from Oregon back in August, although they've changed coaching staffs since then, and he got an offer from Nevada 8 days ago)...but we're getting a lot of good attention from people. He's in the class of 2024, so it'll be a while until we know anything.
Here's a bit more about him, btw: https://khqa.com/sports/overtime-blog/2 ... s-hannibal

Do we know what the knock against Jarrett was, seems like some impressive stats, etc or is it another case of the transfer portal kinda blocking him from getting bigger offers.

"The facilities are decent"  At least he is honest I guess, anyway sounds like a good kid and does have a good story.

My guess would be the Portal.  There are a lot of JUCO and HS kids that would normally be getting MAC, Mountain West, Conf USA offers that are still available; as those teams are fighting over former Power 5 guys that are still in the portal.  We are in a great place right now recruiting wise, but I wish we could have starter this 2 weeks earlier.  We are still going to wind up with a great recruiting class. Peewee and Yasir are both players that likely would not have been available in a "normal" recruiting cycle.  The next 5-10 days are going to be fun!
