Dumb question but maybe a present day or former coach can weigh in on it. No doubt teams run set plays in important situations (especially after a timeout), but how often are plays called from the bench while the game is flowing? Sometimes you see a point guard hold up a finger or two but not very often. So are players getting signals from the bench on what plays to run during the game or are they typically on their own (within the scheme of course) to make something good happen? Seems like our favorite strategy is to simply spread the floor and open up space for someone to attack the paint and then crash the boards. I like the crash the boards part of it. Not so much everything leading up to it.

That Summit League twitter account that is new this year, made a point about WIU, said he thought if WIU isn't making shots out of the gate that is seems their defense goes out the window.sealhall74 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 6:43 pm Another hole to dig out of tonight. We look terrible on D and O.

Another disappointing loss. Seems the momentum both basketball squads had is gone and looks like the attendance numbers are reflecting that also.sealhall74 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 6:43 pm Another hole to dig out of tonight.
